Older people in Walsall are being urged to get their winter flu vaccination to help protect them this winter.

Walsall Health Chiefs are today urging people at risk of flu to get protected and have the seasonal flu vaccine. Four groups have been identified as being most at risk:
Continuing Healthcare
Deadlines Introduced for New NHS Continuing Healthcare Assessments During 2004-2012 The deadlines apply to previously un-assessed periods of care from 1 April 2004 to 31 March 2012. Individuals should contact their local Primary Care Trust Continuing Healthcare Team for further information (www.nhs.uk) or click here for further details.
