My NHS Walsall is our pioneering public membership scheme for people who have an interest in health matters. We recently welcomed members recruited as part of the Manor Hospital’s Foundation Trust to our membership, increasing our total membership to around 13,000.
The MyNHS Walsall Parliament is some 80 strong and represents the top layer of the membership scheme .It meets in full four times a year and between those meetings, members are actively engaged in a wide range of working groups and other forums that support our key priorities .
They provide an important channel of communication and are a valuable resource to any local health organisation which needs meaningful public involvement in a project or programme.
