Blackwood Road Health Centre's patient participation group is hosting an open day focused on health and well being for the family at Streetly Community Centre.
The event is due to take place on Saturday, 25 September from 10am to 4pm and will be opened by the Mayor and Mayoress of Walsall.
A special session in the morning will examine Alzheimers and Dementia including what help is available to families and carers.
An afternoon session will look at family health including reducing the risk and dealing with diabetes; depression and how it can affect you; breast feeding and health for children and teenagers.
For both sessions, there will be a Q and A conducted by Dr Andrew Thornett.
There will be free prize draws in the morning and the afternoon and we welcome everyone along to drop in at any time during the day. Entry to the event at the centre in Foley Road East, Streetly, B74 3HR is free.
