NHS Walsall publishes performance record for last year
The Vital Signs review detailing how NHS Walsall performed in 2009/10 was published today (September 30)
The document is designed to share information on our performance against the nationally defined measures used to monitor and assess overall performance of NHS organisations.
In a joint statement, Dr Geoff Archenhold, Chairman of NHS Walsall, and Denise McLellan, Chief Executive of NHS Walsall, said: “Whilst we are pleased with performance levels in a number of target areas, we acknowledge that there remain areas where we have not achieved what we set out to do. We are using the performance data to work with our services to address these areas and secure progress towards our goal of improving the overall health of our population.”
The Vital Signs measures are broken down into three parts – national requirements, national priorities and local priorities.
