Walsall smokers urged to make quit smoking resolutions

Walsall Stop Smoking Services (WSSS) is urging Walsall Residents to treat February as the start of a New Year and make it their resolution to quit. WSSS aims to reassure smokers that it’s not too late to quit and encourage them to make use of all the free help available to them to help them say goodbye for good.

Joanna Robinson, Smoking Cessation Co-Ordinator for Walsall tPCT, said: “Many smokers use the tradition of  making New Year’s resolution as a starting point for quitting. Walsall Stop Smoking Servcies offer help all year round and we want to encourage people to take advantage of this. There has never been more help available and there is a way that is right for you.”

WSSS offer help and support to anyone who is considering stopping. One to one sessions are available at various times and locations throughout Walsall.  For more information on how to quit smoking call 0800 169 9346.
