Walsall National NHS Staff Survey Results

Walsall Teaching Primary Care Trust (Walsall tPCT) is proud to announce today the results of the NHS National Staff Survey. The survey carried out by Picker Institute Europe, highlighted a huge improvement in a large number of areas.  Out of the 48 cluster PCT’s across England, who provide Mental Health or Learning Disability Services, Walsall tPCT was ranked the best performing West Midlands PCT in 3 out of 6 sections.

 

Paul Jennings, Chief Executive if Walsall tPCT, said: “I am thrilled at the results of the survey. I said when I arrived here at Walsall that my aim was to reach the top 10% nationally for the way we treat our staff and I think we have made good progress towards reaching that.”

 

Walsall tPCTs best performance was in improvement of staff attitude with a position of 7th out of the 48 PCTs. Staff reported a hugely positive experience in relation to support, encouragement, and feedback from immediate managers and also highlighted the organisation for effective communication and involving staff in corporate decisions.
