Older People's Services proposals agreed

The Board of Walsall tPCT met on Tuesday 20 December 2005 and agreed to move forward with proposals to build a hospice for Walsall and a long term specialist care centre at Goscote, to cease patient transfers from the Manor to Goscote, and to commission new intermediate care services in the community.

32 individual responses were in favour of the proposals, with 16 against and 11 undecided. 3 people spoke against the proposals in a public meeting, and a petition was received.
