Walsall Teaching Primary Care Trust (Walsall tPCT) is delighted to hear, in official results from the national NHS survey released today by The Healthcare Commission, that staff are more positive than any other comparable organisation in the NHS.
Paul Jennings, Chief Executive if Walsall tPCT, said: “I am thrilled at the results of the survey. Thanks to the hard work and genuine interest in promoting the interests of staff we have successfully become the top for positive feeling.”
The results also showed the tPCT ranked near the top in quality of worklife balance, fairness and effectiveness in reporting errors, near misses or incidents and perceptions of effective action from employer towards violence and harassment.
At the time of sampling, Walsall tPCT had 1641 members of staff eligible to take part in the survey. Questionnaires were randomly sent to 689 staff and 478 completed questionnaires were returned representing a response rate of 69% which is the highest for comparable organisations.
